Have been a customer since the very beginning. Locally owned and operated. Consistently excellent baked goods of all types. The real show stoppers are the cakes that are decorated by the owner. Nothing "cookie cutter" here. Come in with your ideas and she always surpasses your expectations. And unlike many bakeries the cakes are not only creative and beautiful, they are delicious.

Charles Street Bakery has some of the best pies and cakes anywhere. Deborah did our wedding cake back in 2005, and it looked just like the picture my wife brought in, and tasted every better - the picture was kinda chewy... They also have a small table and a couple chairs indoors, and free wi-fi. It's a great spot to meet someone in the morning if you want some peace and quiet with your coffee and pastry.

Awesome bakery. They are very good with taking your vision and making it beautiful. I got them to do my mother's 60th birthday cake and cupcakes and not only did they do an awesome job but they were considerably less than another bakery for a larger cake. They did a 4th of July cake for me as well that was beautiful. The cakes are also very delicious and the designer was very patient and focused with meeting my needs. They are very close to my house so I will use them for all my bakery needs in the future.

The baked goods are FABULOUS. I could seriously eat their snickerdoodle cookies all day. I have seen many of their decorated cakes, and some of them are really amazing - very creative. My only complaint is that the counter staff can sometimes be a little cold. But they are always polite. We love to stop by on weekend mornings for breakfast.

My wife and I used Charles Street Bakery to make favors for our recent wedding. We provided the bakery with specific cookie cutters and they were able to provide exactly what we asked for on time. The staff at the bakery is very friendly and professional and the cookies were delicious. I would recommend Charles Street Bakery to anybody, whether it's for a special occasion or you're just in the mood for a specific baked good.

We just moved to the area and While exploring town we stumbled upon Charles street bakery . The staff was friendly and food delicious. I enjoyed a Carmel latte with my treats . We tried a variety of baked goods - the eclair was fantastic and huge!, the berry tart was very fresh and tasty, I loved the blue berry and cheese Danish , the lemon bar could have had a little more lemon for my taste ( I love lemon ) but was good , the donut was average not spectacular I enjoy a sweeter dough next time I'll get one with icing . The cannoli is prefilled so the cookie isn't crispy anymore but the filling was good . I look forward to visiting here again.

Ordered a Sweet 16 birthday cake from this bakery. The decoration was beautiful, however, the cake itself was a little dry and flavorless.

The people at Charles Street Bakery are nice and it's a cute establishment, but for me the price I paid for the chocolate chip cookies they were just OK. The same was true for the red velvet and carrot cupcakes I purchased the icing was good but both cupcakes were dry and just OK.

Stopped a few weeks a go for breakfast brunch treats... And looking for a local source of french macarons... Good part. Nice bakery, good couple tables to seat and relax enjoying a cup of coffee or cocoa with a good selections of treats... Favorites are lemon bar, spinach and goat cheese croissants pastry, Danishes with lots of fruit filling, cookies, chicken and egg salad sandwiches, and pecans buns. Lots of flavor in these threats. Bad part, parking in back, only three tables in shop, no french macarons, only american coconut macaroons, smoothies are done with powdered flavors, not fresh fruits. We like it enough overall to come back for our favorites treats the next weekend... Prices are about the same as Panera.

Thanks for making my wife's birthday so special! The cake was outstanding (as usual) and the color matching was perfect (she is so happy about the colors matching our wedding colors). And you folks did an awesome job decorating the cake it was stunning!

We stop by whenever we are in the area...which is often! We especially enjoy the eclairs, rum pastries, cannolis and French macarons! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
